03.07.14 We are delighted to announce that Flag Up Scotland Jamaica will be launching at Glasgow Chamber of Commerce on August 1st. We are also honoured that the Jamaican High Commissioner Mrs Aloun Ndombet-Assamba will be joining us.
Both the location and the date are perfect. The Glasgow Chamberof Commerce is in the heart of the Merchant City and was founded in 1783. Some of its early members were involved in the sugar trade. August 1st is Jamaica’s Emancipation Day and other Jamaica related events are happening on that day. To find out more about that day please contact Anne McLaughlin.
